Dan Brown is back at it with his latest book Origin. It is another Robert Langdon book that has him escaping death to solve a controversial mystery.

Robert Langdon is in Spain for an announcement by a former student that is going to change the world and science and religion. The announcement, of course, doesn’t go as planned and Robert Langdon finds himself running for his life with a beautiful woman , again no surprise. Someone is trying to prevent the announcement from being made but is it religious leaders, the royal family of Spain, or someone else. Science, religion and artificial intelligence along with art, nature, and poetry are all at work.

I’m torn- it was an interesting premise, finding the answer to the questions “Where did we come from? And Where are we going?” but for whatever reason it did not hold my attention. Typically with a Dan Brown book I am so engaged I can’t put it down but that wasn’t the case this time & not sure if it was the book or my life.

Guess it is a pick because it was well written but….

Have you read it? Thoughts?
