I am a sucker for books about books or loving books or the power of books. Books are near and dear to my heart so it was not a surprise that I couldn’t wait to read How to Find Love In a Bookshop. And the book did not disappoint! How to Find Love in a Bookshop is the perfect book for when you are looking for a heart warming read. This is a book that feels like a warm hug and when you are finished you are satisfied and content with what you read.
How to Find Love In a Bookshop takes place in a picturesque English Village and Nightingale Books is the place in the village where everyone leaves with a smile. But when Julius, the owner of Nightingale Books dies he leaves the store to his daughter Emilia. Emilia is at a loss because Nightingale Books is losing money and she has to decide if she is going to keep it open. Enter a cast of characters from the village that are slightly lost and with the help of the bookstore are able to find their way. this book reminds us that it is a struggle to find what is in your heart and reach for it but with the right book anything is possible. A celebration of the power of books and kindness it was just what my weekend needed.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC for my fair and honest review.
