Healthier Spinach Artichoke Dip

For Game Day or a party Spinach Artichoke Dip is a perfect addition.  When we are out and it’s on the appetizer menu I order it so I was determined to make it at home. I wanted to make it slightly healthier so I used light cream cheese and low fat yogurt (Stonyfield is my favorite) as I have in many of our favorite dips, Jalapeno Popper, Taco Dip. You can use fresh spinach or frozen, if you are using frozen you can easily defrost it by putting it in a colander and running water over it until defrosted. Make sure to wring all the water out of before using it. Drain and finely chop the artichoke hearts before using. Use your favorite cheddar cheese to up the deliciousness!! Mix everything together and bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips or pieces of bread and enjoy!!
