The morning dawned cold and crisp with frost adding sparkle to the yard.  It was the kind of morning that just begged for a warm, gooey muffin.
Something chocolatey (of course) but I also wanted something with a little texture and interest.  These muffins were just what I was looking for.  They have the chocolate I was craving with oatmeal to add a little texture and peanut butter chips for interest.
They were wonderful out of the oven and even better as an afternoon snack!  Did I mention I adore these muffins!!  I hope you will try them and enjoy a sweet morning.

  1. Oats is a great ingredient for muffins and I love the classic combo here. Not many people can resist chocolate and pb. That first picture is tempting.
    Great post!
